öğrenciler bilim/teknoloji ve sanatın uluslararası ilişkilerle nasıl bağlantılı olduğunu araştırma fırsatı bulurlar. Bilim ve teknolojideki ilerlemelerin bazen önemli siyasi kararların bir sonucu olduğunu ve bunun uluslararası politikada
tartışılan konular haline gelen bazı sosyal, ekonomik ve politik sonuçlara yol açtığını öğrenirler. Ayrıca sanatın (filmler, müzik, çizgi filmler vb.) uluslararası ilişkileri nasıl etkilediğine ve bir öğrencinin
uluslararası ilişkileri daha iyi öğrenmek için bu sanatsal çalışmaları nasıl kullanabileceğine dair örnekleri de incelerler.

verilen program, bilim, teknoloji, sanat ve Uluslararası İlişkiler arasındaki bağlantıların önemi göz önüne alındığında, yalnızca bu alandaki öğrencilerin değil, diğer tüm disiplinlerdeki öğrencilerin de dikkatini
çekmeyi amaçlamaktadır. hayatın her alanında giderek daha belirgin ve deneyimli hale geliyor.
Program, halihazırda disiplinler arası bir alan olan Uluslararası İlişkiler 'den gelen oldukça disiplinler arası bir
yaklaşımı benimsiyor.

Dr. TOKSÖZ has been working on issues on science and technology and arts within the discipline of International Relations (IR) for the past two decades. She has published several articles /book chapters and given
many conference presentations on arts and IR and science, technology and IR, especially on space politics. When she was a graduate student, she took courses on Science, Technology and International Relations at Universite Paris 1 - Panteon Sorbonne
in France and Northeastern University in Boston, USA. She has offered elective courses on International Relations through Films and Science, Technology and International Relations at Dogus University. She has also worked on art and peace, especially
during the period when she served as the President of the European Peace Research Association (EuPRA). Currently, she is also the National Coordinator for Turkiye at the Moon Village Association (MVA) and a participant of the Global Expert Group on
Sustainable Lunar Activities (GEGSLA) at MVA.

PROGRAM INFO: In this certificate program, students find the opportunity to investigate how science/technology and arts are linked to international relations. The students taking this course learn that advances in science and technology
are sometimes a result of important political decisions and they also result in some social, economic and political consequences which become issues debated in international politics. They also study examples of how arts (films, music, cartoons
etc.) impact international relations and how a student can use these artistic work to better learn about international relations.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Taught by scholars of International Relations, the program intends to draw the attention of not only students of this particular field, but also students from all other disciplines, given the fact that the interconnections
between science, technology, arts, and International Relations become more and more pronounced and experienced in all walks of life. The program takes a highly interdisciplinary approach coming from an already interdisciplinary field as the International
Relations.
